Vehicle Detail
I have been an Ebay member for 7 years with 100% feedback. I am selling my beloved, prized position automobile against all my friends and co workers advice. But I just bought a 1M and I don't have room for 2 cars. This is the only reason I am selling the car as I hate to let this car go for this M3 is Rock Solid. Never raced, tracked or driven hard. I really respected this M3 and it shows. This car is truly a rare find... No engine modifications at all. No Chip, Tune, Header or intake. I wanted to keep this car for a very long time and did not want to risk the longevity of this amazing engine. Besides, it's a shame to mess with this power plant. It is perfect. Maintenance is absolutely crucial on these cars. Alot more important than the miles on the car. If you end up with a low price M3 that has not been maintained well, even with low miles, you are in for a rude awakening. Well maintained M3s have over 160,000 miles on them with no issues. Bushings, Mounts, Shocks, Oil and Filter and the many more items MUST be replaced in time or as preventive maintenance to keep the car running at 100%. That is what this M3 offers. If you are looking for an average M3 that has been tracked, raced, abused and beat up, and needs any kind of repair, stop reading. This car is Immaculate. It has been looked after religiously. Results however are amazing. No Rattles, Squeaks or noises anywhere. Interior is dead quiet. Adult driven and cared for. I'm over 40 so this car was not handled by a kid. This is my baby. All fluids used have been OEM. Oil changed at 7500 miles with all records available. Inspections I and II were done in time with all records available. Subframe inspected and in-tact, all recalls and service bulletins performed. Brakes have more than 50% left. At the last inspection, I was told to check the clutch again at 120K as it still shows no sign of wear. Always used either Chevron or Shell 91 Octane. No smoking, drinking, eating in the car. EVER! The car is 9 years old so expect to see minor and normal wear and tear but for it's age is extremely mint and pretty much in showroom condition and there are no dents anywhere. I am the second owner and the car has never been in an accident. Clean Carfax. Clean Title in Hand. Always garaged, at home and at work. I purchased the car from a BMW dealer in Dec 2007 with 39,800 miles. It was 100% stock. It was traded in by a local doctor for a 335 Coupe. He had maintained the car properly and had a record of all the work done which I still posses. In the last 4 years that I have owned it, I had a slight Oil Leak when I first bought it which I fixed under warranty, I had a window regulator and Alternator replaced under warranty and the coils under BMW Bulletin. That's it. The car has been extremely reliable. No leaks, lights on or any issues, period! Car is sold AS-IS, with no Waranty. You can however purchase warranty from a BMW dealer for another 3 years or 36,000 miles. When I checked last week, I was quoted $2957 with a $100 deductible and it is called Mileage Plus Level II and it covers most big ticket items, here is the link to what it covers: http://www.protectiveassetprotection.com/Portals/0/Highlight-Sheets/Mileage-Plus-Info-Sheet.pdf The car: 2002 BMW M3 Coupe in Carbon Black Metallic and Gray/Black Nappa Leather 84,500 miles 80% highway, 20% city driving. 6 Speed Manual. This is a much better option than the SMG. No shift lag, no SMG pump to go out. You drive the car, not the othe way around. This is a purist's M3. 333 hp with 262 lb. Torque. The infamous S54 3.0 In-Line 6 with an 8000 RPM Redline. 21 MPG City and 26 MPG Hwy is what I have been getting. MODIFICATIONS LIST: OEM CSL Carbon Fiber Roof!! $5600 (This was a very long, pricey and painful process. Results were worth it. Car is 50 pounds lighter. The weight was reduced in the worst place you can have weight, the roof of the car. Sharper turn-in and reduction in body roll. Also, the car is among handful of E46 M3's in the US with this modification. I believe there is less than 20 E46 M3s with this mod in the United States. There maybe more aftermarket carbon fiber roofs such as Vorsteiner but they have been proven to be in bad quality and looks and durability compared to the OEM. Fucy CSL Diffuser (Painted Carbon Black to blend better with the car) $450 Dinan Exhaust with all blacked out tips! $1300 Not a loud exhaust but no drone and the sound fits the car. These wheels were only made for the 911 Carrera and the E46 M3. Extremely rare. I have never seen another M3 with these wheels in person. RAD Wheels locks $75 KWV2 adjustable Coilovers installed at 72K miles $1700. Height ride is 13" Rear and 13.5" Front. Not too low to mess up the Geometry of the car. Just perfect. M3s are not meant to be slammed. It will ruin the ride. H&R 10mm spacers all around. I had them all replaced at 45K miles and I did them again it because I had planned to keep the car for a long time and wanted to do them as preventive maintenance since I was putting new tires on. The tech showed me the old parts and they were all good. Oh well, they are brand new now! Battery still tested good but because of the aftermarket sound system and the fact that it had been 4 years, I decided to change it.) I would not have done these recent mods if I knew I am getting a new car. My lost is truly your gain!! THE EXTRAS I WILL INCLUDE: I have 1 Michelin 245/35/19 that has about 30% thread left. I will include it in case you get a flat front tire. I will be including 4 yards of OEM Gray Alcanatra that I purchased from Gulf Fabrics for $550. I was planing to wrap the headliner with this as a last mod so this will be a project for you if you care to do it. It will look fantastic. I will also include a pair of Umnitza LED Tail lights with 1 set of wiring so if one goes out, you will have the spare available immediately. A pair of OEM Side Gills with Monochrome M Badge in case you want to go back to chrome. Currently I have gloss black installed. I have the Wheel Lock Key, 2 Master keys, 1 Valet key and 2 Clifford Remotes. Complete Owner's Manual and the MSRP Sticker. and ALL service records! Over $30,000 in tasteful modifications. This car gets serious looks and respect when seen. The CSL Carbon Fiber roof by itself makes this M3 extremely rare. These links show you the process for the CSL roof installation: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=539485&highlight=oem+csl+roof Serious Inquiries only: Please, No tire kickers or lowballers, these replies or emails will be ignored. This is not a car for someone who wants a cheap KBB E46 M3. Car is flawless, with EXTREME attention to detail and cleanliness. Any and all worn item was replaced with OEM and car looks almost as good as Showroom NEW. Sound system is amazing and I mean it is really clean and distortion free with no rattles ANYWHERE. It took me alot of time and money to get to this point. Focal K2Ps are awesome speakers but I think it was really the combination of the Classic Arc Audio Amp, the Focals, the Audyssey EQ system and the speaker install that all resulted in such a clean and natural sounding system. I have sat in many cars with aftermarket CD players and this iPod system blows them away. Trust me! This car has been pampered in every way. I have done a full detail including clay bar, wax and Leatherique twice a year since I have owned it. This is the car for someone who wants a perfect sorted like-new E46 M3 with some of the best modifications on the market with all the weaknesses/trouble areas of the E46 M3 eliminated. Be one of the handful owners in the country with an OEM CSL Carbon Fiber Roof. This part is from the CSL M3 which was never available in the United States. The CSL parts are also not available in the US either. It was a pain and a 8 month process to get this part in and get this done but well worth the trouble. FINANCING: Due to the nature of the car, there is a very significant factor that will come into play if you are choosing to finance your purchase. At best, with your top-tier credit score, you should be able to get up to 125% financing on the Blue Book Retail value of the STOCK car plus its corresponding tax, which for this particular vehicle with all the STOCK options factored in is around 20,000. You will not be able to 100% finance this outright through a bank as an auto-only loan. FAQ - PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CONTACTING ME VIA EMAIL. I have tried to anticipate the most important issues that might come up. 1. Please obtain your own financing if necessary. I will not carry any loans, nor accept credit cards. 2. Out of state buyers must set up their own shipping arrangements. www.uship.com works great. 3. The car is paid off with Title in Hand. Title is clear. 4. I understand this car appeals to a specific demographic and person with liquid finances. 5. Car will be shown by appointment only in parts of N. California only. I will accompany the potential buyer alone on the test drive. 6. A $1000 Deposit will hold the car for 3 days, after that it is non-refundable. This window is necessary as deposits in past have turned from "I need 7 days to I need 3 months to come up with the cash". This epidemic essentially pushes out potential buyers. The rest of the money needs to be wired via wire transfer. 7. Please, no joy riders or daydreamers. SERIOUS buyers only. Pre-approved/cash customers. As mentioned above you may not be able to finance this outright through a bank as an auto only loan due to value so make proper arrangements prior. I want to give my undivided attention to the proper buyer and their questions and do not want to waste time on craiglist style question/offers and demands to non-serious buyers. 8. Do not bother emailing me with offers or anything that refers to KBB. Specific pictures can be taken by email request. You are more than welcome to pick any AAA, Dealership or BMW indpendent shop for a full inspection. Just let me know. I do reserve the right to end the auction early if I find a local buyer. Email: djbardia@gmail.com Don't hesitate. This is one of the nicest E46 M3's around. You will be very happy driving this car. Believe me. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for looking.
