I bought this car 19 years and then did the restoration 17 years ago.The motor was professionally rebuilt and balanced,the interior was all redone in black and maroon leather while the door panels and dash were done in matching vinyl,and new carpet installed.It was very nicely done,bumpers were rechromed and new paint was applied.Believe or not I have only put about a thousand miles on it since I restored it and put it away in storage and then went on to other cars.Since taking it out,it runs drives very well,some minor things never got done like some under dash panels that were never installed,air conditioning hooked up and some other minor things,The tires are correct for this car and are in excellent shape,hubcaps are excellent.I converted the carb and distributor to the 1957 Carter AVS setup instead of the troublesome Holley Teapot.The paint and body looks pretty good,but show signs of cracking and peeling,probably poor prep work.Still a gorgeous car with some flaws and would make someone a great car to drive and show off and a fraction of the price of some MKII's. I can deliver possibly for an additional charge. I do have lots of used and some NOS parts and a complete parts car that would be availiable for an extra cost.
