I am selling my 1988 Mercedes Benz 300E. I will describe this vehicle to the best of my ability. If there is anything I leave out that is of importance to you please ask before bidding. I will start with the MECHANICS of this vehicle. Has only 91K original miles. Runs excellent. The engine runs very smooth and strong. No leaks at all. The transmission shifts great. The suspention is tight and feels good. The brakes are in good shape. The alighnment is straight. Just replaced the water pump (have reciepts) This is a great running Mercedes. The AC blows cold sometimes (will need a charge) All of the elctric components work great. All the lights, turn signals, and interior lights work proper. The tires have around 50% tread left. The EXTERIOR will be described next. The body is in excellent condition. The passengers side fender has a small ding / dent in it. Minor but worth mentioning. Aside from that the body looks great. The paint is the original and has some faiding in some areas (see pics) looks presentable. All of the plastic trim and weather stripping is in great shape. The INTERIOR is in great shape. Carpet, door panels, seats, headliner, dash, everything looks great. The woodgrain in the center console has some slight cracking, and the front drivers seat has a one small area of wear. (see pics) Interior is very nice. Vehicel has never been in an accident. Has clean title and reg. is current through 2012. Overall this is a great running low mileage vehicle, that looks good.
