I have inherited this Beetle and i'm not really into bugs so I will discribe it the best I can, please ask questions and look at the pictures closely. As far as I can tell this car has not been restored just maintained through its life. I have done some research and found out that the floor pans rust out, it looks like this has had one pan replaced and the other has been repaired. The only place I found rust is behind the front wheel well on the passengers side (see photo). The car has been sitting for 4 years, I put a new set of points in it, cleaned the carb and flushed the gas tank. It seems to run good, no engine noise. Everything seems to be there, all the windows I believe are original, both roll down windows need rubbers. The seats have been upholstered, the seats still have original upholstery under the new stuff but its not in good shape. I think all the knobs on the dash are there and look original. There is some plumbing missing for the fan (see photo). The car has been resprayed at some stage but I would say that it was a very long time ago. There is only one dent worth mentioning and it can bee seen in the photos. I guess you can drive the car but I would certainly check over it before you drove it. I am happy to help arange shipping at my end at your cost. I am told the roof rack it self is worth quite a bit. This is no reserve so only bid if you are going to buy. It was last registered in 2006 and there are no outstanding fees against the vehicle.
