Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a 1980 SC Porsche that has done 109 000 miles. I currently use the car as my daily commute to work and back, the SC models are known for its reliability and virtually indestructible engines. The car is in great condition for its age and has original 3 litre engine. The compression on the engine was checked at the last service and reads as follows 1. 165 | 2. 165 | 3. 170 | 4. 175 | 5. 180 | 6. 175 It comes with the famous RS Duck Tail (original hood included), electric windows, 5 speed gearbox that shifts perfectly. This is a beautiful car that handles very very well. It's a fun everyday sports car for the driver who loves to drive. Like all Porsche’s of this time period it does not have all the driver assisted technology, so the feedback you get from the car is amazing. I purchased the vehicle to do a ’73 RSR backdate conversion but could not get myself to cut into the original bodywork as it was in such great condition. The car is accident free (please feel free to have a full inspection done) The interior of the car is very clean and the exterior has only slight wear and tear on the paint. The interior does have a slight tear in the passenger seat (see picture) but otherwise is in very good condition. Interior is dark brown. What has been done over the past two years: 1. Clutch replaced with clutch fork 2. Replaced main rear seals 3. Replaced injector holders and seals 4. Replaced oil pressure switch and thermostat 5. Installed engine compartment insulator 6. Updated engine to hydrolic timing chain tensioners 7. Replaced timing chain on both sides 8. Replaced CIS unit with original Bosch unit 9. Replaced all oils lines and hosed ($800 in parts) this was to prevent any leaks from rubber degradation, the car is 30 year old. 10. Lots of preventative work done to the car as I use the car daily and needed to ensure that it was 100% reliable all the time. Selling the car due to. 1. Not having the heart to cut into the body work of a perfectly great running SC to complete the RSR conversion 2. Have the opportunity to purchase a complete rolling IROC RSR chassis with 3.2 Carrera motor
