Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE For sale: “Hilda,” my 1979 Mercedes Benz 450 SL Convertible/Roadster. Stunning and rare color combination: silver exterior, red leather interior. Clean title. Clean CARFAX report (no damage ever). I have owned this car for two years, and during that time it has been lovingly restored and repaired by MBI (one of the best Mercedes shops on the West Coast). I never missed an oil change or tune-up, and the mechanics at MBI in Portland will certainly attest that this little beauty has a lot of wonderful years left on the road. Please feel free to call them and ask them about “Sasha’s 450SL.” Recently I took it in just for a tune-up and it came back with a clean bill of health. This car has never spent a winter on the street – it was a California car originally, then it was a Minnesota car (garaged). THERE IS NO RUST on this car, the paint is in A+ condition, and the dashboard is PERFECT. The seats are okay, with only minor cracking in the driver seat. The dashboard and seats have been covered while I’ve owned this vehicle. Tires are ok – could probably stand to be rotated. I have owned three vintage Mercedes and I can attest that THEY WILL LAST FOREVER. It reads 158,425. I would imagine that I’ve put 18,000 miles on it in the past two years, so it has something closer to 180,000 miles on it. But the engine is in awesome condition and the steering is very straight. In addition to glamorous good looks, this car also has: Power locks Power breaks Power windows 8-Cylinder engine Automatic transmission Really nice after-market speakers and amp (radio needs to be fixed, however) Hard top and soft-top Please see pictures below.
