Up for auction we have 2001 Ford F450 , We are relisting the truck due to a buyer who had given us a deposit and then seemed unable to bring us the balance of the money and every day was another excuse so please if you would like to buy the truck could you please have your monies in place before bidding , now back to the truck , We had purchased the truck recently with the idea that we would use it for a tow truck to pull our boats but then purchased a F350 crew cab dually instead so have decided to sell the 450 . The body is very clean on the truck in my opinion , the engine runs well being the 7.3 diesel it is capable of doing 500K so has it has many more miles left in it ,the transmission shifts as it should through all the gears , the pictures you see of the engine were taken while it was running . The windshield has no cracks , the interior is in reasonable shape for a work truck , the seat is ripped on the drivers side so we purchased a seat cover pictured . The flatbed is in decent shape , there is rust in the back corner not structural I believe and we have taken a picture of it . We do have the drop sides for the bed if you want them , we removed them to give us better visiblity when backing up with a trailer . The rear tyres are going to need replacement soon . Overall I think we have a good truck for reasonable money , fly in and drive it home . We have not used it much ourselves but when we have driven it we have not had any serious problems . The last time I drove it the brake lights did not work properly so I have dropped it at the mechanics shop to get fixed and by the time the auction ends they will be fixed at my expense, they have been fixed now and work great .
