THE OVERVIEW Offered for an appreciating new owner is this rare1976 Chevrolet Corvette C3 Coupe with factory T-Tops!Finished in gleaming black over all original black leather interior, this 1976 Corvette Stingray just over 129,000 miles on its working odometer. [I cannot 100% verify this due to the five-digit odometer]. It sports the 350 V8 engine with 360 foot pounds of torque with 8.5:1 compression ratio. It has 16" aluminum mag wheels with excellent near-new B.F. Goodrich rubber, working electric windows and older stereo cassette with two rear speakers. It seems to have had one correct color repaint at some point in it 35 year life. There are miscellaneous blemishes on the car with some notable cracking in the finish on the front nose section. I would rate this a nice "driver-quality" example. THE INTERIOR The interior of this 1976 Corvette is in decent to good original condition. All gauges work as they should except for the temperature and the clock reads the correct time only twice daily!. There is some light wear on the black leather seats and the carpet and door panels as well as some discoloring on the steering wheel. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This classic Corvette starts, runs and drives QUITE WELL! The engine is VERY smooth and powerful with with excellent acceleration and a deep mellifluous rumble. The transmission up and down shifts crisply and the brakes stop straight and strong with excellent pedal feel. The suspension is fairly tight and supple and smooth free of any major clunks, rattles or shimmies. Overall this car is a fun car to drive "T"-TOPLESS on a warm sunny day! THE DETAILS AND $$$$$$ 1.
