1974 CJ6 my pride in joy..... 106" wheel base, tons more room than the cj5 and cj7's, nothing againts them, I am a fan of all jeeps. The CJ-6 is the most rare of the jeep lines, due to mostly being exported overseas. Full custom roll bar, Full soft top with doors and windows and bikini top. 360 AMC V8 5.8L (american motors Co.) Dana 300 transfer case with Twin Sticks Auto trans with 4-1 Terra Low Front Lock rite limited slip lockers on a 8 lug dana 44 axle Spartan Rear Lockers on a 8 lug Dana 60 axle New rear output shaft, yoke and u joints. Custom built Rock sliders Custom Heavy Duty bumpers rear and front Rear towing Receiver Great spot in the front for a winch, havent needed one yet, goes anywhere and everywhere and pulls everyone else out Performance Carb with stail converter. On board Air Compressor with quick connect in front under the hood and on the back by the bumper. Electric fan with overhead console switch Switch for the rear nite driving or backup lights Compressor overhead console switch 16.5 Steel wheels running New 39.5 super swampers 4 point harness seatbelts for extra safety but also regular seatbelts installed Rear Seat with seat belts Aftermarket cd player with ipod connection, amp installed under the seat and two 6x9's on either side of the back roll cage Aftermarket oil pressure gage, temp gage, fuel gage Front disk brakes, rear drum brakes Power Steering with High Steer Kit Axles are 8 lug heavy duty 3/4 ton. Heavy duty 4 core radiator I am sure I am missing something, the jeep is tough, can climb anything you point it at. I have some videos from moab this year I will post here or have a link to see them Its mechanically ready for anything, not cosmetically ready for a classic car show but could be down the road. The body is not ready for a show but ready for moab or anything else you want to throw at it, I am not into making them look pretty just mean and tough. I dont have the time or money to make this into a show jeep nor the desire, it was built to crawl and thats what it does best, not to mention everybody loves it and comments , "is that a cj6?!! sweet I havent seen one of those in years" Got to love it!!! The closes thing to compare this to is the cj8 scrambler and restored they sell for over $40,000 and the cj6 being more rare should be worth more after full restoration, last time I was on ebay there was only one CJ-6 listed. I bought a house for my famliy, :) this is the only reason that I am selling my so called baby for my other babies :) they are worth it!!! Thanks!!!
