I'm working on clearing out my Rabbit Diesels.. I have the cream of the crop here.. This is a 1979 VW Rabbit Diesel. Its a 2 Door Hatch, it is in as close to MINT original condition as possible.. It has 51,000 original miles on it.. Its excellent shape, with no discernible rust on the body at all. I'm just getting out of my Rabbit phase and getting rid of my last two.. This one is in superb shape.. Inside and Out, it even has the original Blaupunkt radio in the car. Along with some hard to find Chrome Wind Deflectors on the side windows. You'll be hard pressed to find a better example in original shape. This has the 1.5 Diesel 4 Cylinder, not the 1.6.. This also comes with the 4-Speed Manual, and has the awesome .71 to 1 Ratio 4th Gear.. This car is setup to get really close to 60mpg.. It will need the Injection pump cleaned or rebuilt as it has been sitting and its gummed up a bit. I purchased it a couple months ago, but since have looked elsewhere for projects so this one has to go.. I also will be posting a great condition 4-Door Hatch as well.
