Up for auction is this 1972 240Z. Everyone knows that this is the car that changed the game for Japan. Now is your chance to own one of the nicer examples for sale today. This car has a production date of 3/72 and came with a very rare white interior. The seats have been newly recovered with correct materials. The front carpet has been replaced and well as a new OEM dash (Just try and find a new dash today and not pass out from the price). A nice Pioneer head unit with awesome Polk MOMO carbon fiber speakers make this car sound as good as it looks! The original jack, accessories, spare tire are also included. A quick look at what is for sale around the internet and most are rusty, beaten to death basket cases!! This one has lived in Arizona all of its life and is solid throughout! It only has 65k Miles and all previous owners have preserved and cared for this car and it shows!! Even though the cars paint is the weakest area it still shows and turns heads everywhere I go! At some point in the past the car has had some paint from the doors back as well as the hood. The new owner should know a paint job would make this a show winner or could be enjoy as is. The Z has several period options such as the louvers and bar above the rear bumper. In keeping with tasteful and purposeful mods the front and rear brakes have been upgraded to four piston brakes in the front and disk brakes in the rear. The suspension has also been upgraded with front and rear sway bars as well as stiffer springs and shocks. One of the best details of this car is all the powder coating that has been done to the chassis. All chassis pieces that could be unbolted have been powder coated!!! The motor has been gone through and detailed down to the correct Datsun color for the block. Since this is Arizona an Aluminum radiator with fan shroud will keep this motor cool in even the hottest days. The original points have been swapped for electronic ignition. The valve cover has been highly polished to crown this jewel. The throw away Datsun's of yesterday are gone! These cars are becoming more highly collectable by the day and will only rise in value.
