For auction is a 1989 Chryler Conquest TSI. This is a NO RESERVE auction. This car is a factory red coupe with black leather interior. This car was driven daily throughout the summer. It features a 2.6 L mitsubishi 4 cylinder with new rod, main bearings, timing chain, water pump, clutch and cylinder head. Car also has new fuel pump, fuel filter, transmission mount and front windshield. It is fully loaded as far as options go, and everything works except the air conditioning. This a change over to R134 and belt tensioner it would be complete and most likely work fine. Car runs good with good power, it is completely stock with the exception of counter balance elimination kit. Transmission shift good and the car corners like a go cart! This car is a decent example of a Conquest that hasnt been tampered with or "tuned". It has 4 new Hankook tires, with new brake rotors and pads all around. It has a full posi-traction rear end with 3.54 axle ratio. The interior is extremely clean except the driver seat is showing signs of wear (see picture). The body is in decent shape overall with some areas needing attention. There is some rust along the rear passenger wheel well, along with broken front air dam, and a couple dents. (see picture). It would take very little to make this exceptionally nice. The undercarriage is in good condition except for some rust in the front floor braces. A very common rust spots on these cars. The dealer still carrys the LH and RH parts to repair these. The hood has some fading as well. (see pictures) Overall this is a very decent Conquest that you can get in and drive, it is not perfect but it is NOT a project either. It has 95180 miles and it still driven daily until winter. Vehicle is located in Ashland, Ohio 44805. Do you think the car need repainted? Like the description says, the paint on the hood is foggy and faded in the center and it has a couple dings, a broken air dam as you can see from the pictures. If in doubt come and look at it before bidding. What is your buy it now price? This is a NO RESERVE auction. Before we bought this car, we looked at alot of Conquests and I even owned one "back in the day". In my opinion this one is in good shape and cleaner than most I looked at, and it is all there.
