Vehicle Detail

Great project car. Body and Frame in very good condition. Minimal rust damage. Clear title. Vehicle inspection report from reputable British Car and Bike Restoration Shop available. This car has been in the family since the late 60's. Purchased in California, driven back to Ohio and parked sometime around 1974. Being sold as is, no warranty. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. On Oct-23-11 at 09:34:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Vehicle Condition Report Rockers have rust damage at rear where meet with the rear fender Rear fender has minimal damage in front only to patch Sills and out riggers are solid and require no visible repair at this point The RH rear inner fender is solid, as is the floor under the battery as well as the rear shroud mating to the trunk floor and inner fender There is rot damage to the front shroud to the tie in to the frame due to electrolysis The shroud return at the RH rear fender is in very good condition, which is normally an issue Floor pan have some prior patching at the foot wells to repair Sandblasting would be required to remove rust on panels as needed Paint would be stripped chemically The motor has very poor compression readings and will require further disassembly to determine issues I suspect it has bad rings / scored cylinders and will require an over bore with new pistons : a full rebuild would be recommended at this time Oil pressure was good as registered by oil pressure gauge at 40 psi on turn over with out spark plugs installed Gauge condition overall is not able to be known at this time If the motor is to be removed for rebuilding, than the transmission/ OD should also be inspected Additionally if motor is to be pulled than do we properly prep and paint the motor bay with removing the front shroud The wiring harness and some electrical will need replacing Front suspension will need to be disassembled with new bushings installed. Shocks then be inspected for operation and condition Rear shocks are removed currently Convertible top is shot/ frame is intact and in good condition. Although unable to determine if front wood header rail is good with out stripping away old vinyl Overall it is a very solid Healey considering its age with minimal rust damage. Additional info. 4 seater, Soft top has holes in it. spare tire is missing does not run but motor does turn, not frozen
