For Sale: 1969 Datsun 1300 Pickup Truck, model 521, Light Blue, Fair Condition for age. Well used, COMPLETE CAR. Classic Datsun Truck. Selling our family airport putt-putt truck. Was running for years until the old battery was removed (about 8 months ago). Complete with three chrome hubcaps, rolling on original rims and tow-worthy tires. Registration is current for California, non-operational style. Anniversary month is September, SEPT sticker is on rear license plate. Engine was running fairly well around the airport until the old battery was removed. Engine has compression and radiator is sound. I would plan on towing this truck home on a flat bed truck or standard tow truck or tow bar setup. Brakes are soft and need attention. Just needs a fresh battery to run the motor. Haven't had time to take care of that. Just need a few pounds of air to right front tire. I have a portable compressor available at time of delivery. Would make a nice classic truck restoration project. I have too much going on right now to restore and massage this truck. All the body panels are complete and in reasonably serviceable condition. Roof is solid and leak free. Plenty of visible surface rust from bed hauling and wear and tear, but not a lot of major catastrophic corrosion. Floor boards seem firm and sound. Orignal speedometer and gauge package is in pretty nice shape, sight glass is clear and clean. Odometer indicates: 69,499.9 miles. I would assume that would indicate at least 169,499 miles based on the age of the truck. Total mileage is only an estimate, I can't confirm the actual total milage. Original windshield, door glass, and rear window glass are in good condition. Body has contrasting, darker blue pinstriping. Very conservative, not sure if it's factory. All front and rear lights and lenses, and headlights appear to be complete and intact. Rear view mirror is intact. Seat could use a cover. Front grill is original. Included: Solid, rear deck bumper. Original chrome front bumper, could use polish or rechroming. Three boxes of brake shoe cores, may be a couple unused shoes in one of the boxes, not sure. Spare, used, downdraft Datsun carburetor. Spare, used fuel pump in the glove box. A few misc. bolts and nuts are saved in the cab. Entire truck and contents are for sale "AS IS", without any warranty expressed or implied.
