Vehicle Detail
1996 Chevrolet Z71 K1500 4x4 Regular Cab, Standard Bed The Good Stuff-- 2 owner vehicle, only 83,500 original miles. All services completed on time with the best fluids. 4x4 works flawlessly, never been off-road, towed a small skiff a few miles on half a dozen occasions. Used as a daily driver - mechanically perfect. Had the transfer case replaced a few months back, transmission was rebuilt - no problems with the transmission! - all seals and gaskets replaced to "good as new" condition. This was the first year of the 350 Vortec V8 engine and it has some power! No leaks of any kind, shifts perfectly, absolutely perfect ride. Has a low profile black truck box that stays with the truck. Also has an aftermarket CD player - Panasonic Double-Din kit that fits perfectly. I had the leaf springs flipped to accommodate larger tires - currently running on 33+ Nitto Grapplers. Minor Details: The driver-side arm rest has a split from my elbow, not a big deal whatsoever, you can pick two matching replacement door panels for $125 on ebaymotors at this very moment. The AC began blowing less and less cold over the past month and a half or so...It was ice-cold prior, probably just needs a recharge. Also, the clear-coat has flaked off the hood - a notorious problem for this vehicle-year especially in Myrtle Beach. The tires need to be replaced soon...I thought about replacing them prior to sale but figured someone may want something other than what I would put on - she can hold 33s + with no rubbing whatsoever. I am setting the reserve at $1,500 less than the current resale rate via KBB.com for the fact that she needs new tires, an a.c. recharge, possible hood re-paint and has a split in the armrest. I see this vehicle reaching my reserve promptly, I do reserve the right to end the auction prior to auction end for I have her for sell elsewhere. Long story short, this is a great truck, just a little much for what I need it for at the moment. This is a hard to find model especially with the extreme low mileage!
