This is a Colorado-native, one-ton 1951 Studebaker truck that I restored about 10 years ago. It has a flatbed with new wood floor and aluminum racks. It also has a hidden goose-neck hitch and a 2-inch receiver at the rear. It has a replacement 289 Studebaker 4-bbl motor, a 12-volt system with a heavy-duty alternator, and a 5-speed overdrive transmission. It started out as just a driver project, but my body/paint guy got carried away with it, so it got a show paint job! It is comfortable to drive with or without a trailer, and it tows a trailer very well. Please see the picture with it pulling a 3-car hauler... I pulled the trucks on the trailer in a parade, and it performed very well. You can drive it home if you'd like!
