For sale is an 1982 Honda Magna VF45 VF750C, I purchased this bike in 1999 as an "project" that my father and I could build together. It has been garage keep the entire time. We gave it a tune up and my brother ("tried") paint the gas tank and side covers. I drove it for one summer than I went off to college and the project was put on the back burner. Here is an break down of the condition as far as I know: -Its started and ran great in 2000, I have not started it since -Trans and clutch worked good -It needs an new battery -It needs new exhaust pipes -It has both side knee cover, I see alot of them selling without or missing one -The tires look to be in good condition, good tread -It was having brake problems, after applying the brakes they would lock and would need to be bleed to release. I was told by an mechanic that the brake lines need to be replaced, that they fell apart internally, it was an common problem on this era motorcycle. -The over all paint is in ok condition, the tank could use an new paint job. -The rubber shock mounts for the aft turn signals are cracked and broken -As far as I can tell the suspension is in good condition, the mechanic told me that the front forks seals could use replacing but they were still in good condition. Overall the bike is in ok condition, it has an good engine, trans, clutch. it does need some work that is far passed my mechanical skill level. any question please ask, I will answer them the best I can.
