Restoration was started a couple years ago and just finished, but not to concours standards. Simply put this car was done to be a great sounding and looking driver and it drives as good as it looks. Always gets thumbs up and looks of envy from gawkers. Radio and CD player is a wonderful sounding Alpine with a extra XM receiver (with a LCD TV screen as well). The sound from speakers is way nice. Although you might forgo listening to the stereo and choose to dance to the tunes of the dual Flowmasters. The restoration included but not limited to... Strong 350 Rocket V8 Freshly Painted motor New water hoses New belts New Chrome Alternator New Chrome Valve Covers New Battery easy disconnect Couple year old two stage paint with black rally stripes (base coat clear coat) New weatherstripping 4 bbl Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold New Vinyl Top (the new vinyl top was just done) New white interior with black piping New carpet New dual Flowmasters exhaust New Exhaust tips New Air Cleaner Cover New battery New front bushings and alignment Air conditioner turns free but it was never hooked up Brakes servicedTires are goodFront wheel bearings serviced Car has an automatic TH350 transmission, power steering and power disc brakes. Stainless and chrome is in good shape. Car just had the wheels base color coated and clear coated with beauty rings. Like I said this car was done to be a great sounding and looking driver. The mileage on the odometer is just over 20,000 miles but I don't think that is right nor do I have a way to tell how many miles are on it. The restoration was not to concours standards, there are a few paint chips and small discrepancies but this isn't a trailer queen but “You will like the way you look... I guarantee it”.
