For auction is this 1975 Suzuki RL250 Trials bike. Frame number RL250-21587 - Engine number RL250-21505. The neck tag has a manufactures date of 11/74. The bike has been sitting for a while and needs a thourough going through. I started the bike with a gas bottle attached ( the petcock is not working properly). I rode the bike around a bit and it goes through all 5 gears well. The fork tube seals are leaking a bit. The rear shocks have good spring action. There are no cracks or breaks in the engine cases. All the fins are good on the cylinder and head. The exhaust system is good - there are no rust holes or major dents. The baffle is in the muffler. The gas tank is straight and has scratches in the paint. The tank has been welded on the back seam in front of the seat. The seat cover is taped. Both of the fenders are broken. The wheels are in good condition. The front tire is weathered, but the rear IRC tire looks to be fairly new. The front brake works well, The rear brake isn't working good. A great winter project, or plenty of good parts for your existing project. I will provide a handwritten bill of sale for the high bidder. Sold as-is. Buyer is responsible for the cost and arranging of delivery. Either pick the bike up yourself, or arrange to have it hauled. I will store the bike no longer than 2 weeks. I will accept Paypal or cash, if picking up in person.
