Vehicle Detail
Hello, Item was re-listed after not meeting reserve price at close of previous 7 day auction - reserve has been lowered since. I am selling my white 1995 BMW 318ti hatchback. Car is in great shape, great gas saver/daily driver (30+ mpg). Just passed smog on 9/13/11 and had oil change and inspection done. After market CD player with iPod hookup. Includes BMW OEM Roof Rack (currently attached, but can easily been removed). Car is 5-speed manual, clutch has a lot of miles left in it. Really clean, cloth interior without any rips or tears. 252,657 miles, but plenty of life left. The mechanic that did the inspection said he couldn't believe how mechanically sound the car was. Brakes are in good shape and were recently replaced. Had close to $1000 worth of work done in last 6 months including a brand new catalytic converter. Updated white turn signals and 'angel eye' headlights. Fog lights are functional and aftermarket - you can see the fog light switch in one of the pictures below the headlight knob. I have the majority of service records, including those recent repairs. I would drive this car from San Diego to New York without the slightest hesitation. All of the mouldings are in great shape. Trunk has plenty of space and the seats fold down in case that's not enough. Tires have a lot of tread and are without scuffs. I've owned 3 BMW 318TIs and this one is my favorite. Stock engine, but it's pretty quick. Thanks, Chris Note - car has a couple of very small dents under the driver side door (see picture) and one golf-ball sized dent on the roof (top right of the all-white picture, it's pretty hard to see in the pictures). There is NO sunroof. eBay auto-populated the sunroof field and I wasn't able to change it in the listing. Also, there is some dried glue below the shift knob - the previous owner did a bad job when he glued it on. You'll be able to see that in the picture as well.
