Vehicle Detail
1995 Eagle Talon TSI DOHC TURBO This is my sons car. The check engine light is on with a mass air flow code. We put a used mass air flow sensor on it and that didn't ake care of the problem. it acts like it is needing more air. if you get on it very hard it will start missing real bad. if you take off slow and easy it does ok. The car is in really good shape. The paint is good and the interior is in good shape. It has chrome wheels on it and almost brand new tires. The motor is clean and seems to run smooth. The trans shifts good. We don't know a lot about turbo cars and he doesn't have the money to fix it, so his lose is your gain. It has a fresh oil change, K&N filter, New plugs, A first generation blow off valve (whatever that means), It's pushing 14lbs of boost. Or at least that's what he was told. Retail on this car is 4510.00 private party in good shape, not excellent is 2910.00, trade in in good shape is 1750.00. Reserve is set VERY LOW. A lot lower than trade in! So be the lucky bidder. Someone is gonna walk away with a great deal. Please if you have neg feedback or less than 10 positive e-mail me with a contact number before bidding. A $200.00 deposit is due at auction end so I know you are a serious buyer. The rest can be paid when you pick up vehicle. Thank you and GOOD LUCK!!!! On Oct-12-11 at 12:57:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: My son is trying to get this car fixed so he can keep it but it's not gonna happen. He started it yesterday and it was sounding good, so he drove it to see how it would do. He said it ran good and then started acting up. He stopped shut it off and re started it and it was ok again. then he drove a ways and it acted up again. He started it back and it was still acting up. He raised the hood and he said it had some smoke coming from under the battery. Smelt like wires burning he said. He said he read were the maf can cause wires to overheat. Just wanted to update everyone. Thank you.
