Vehicle Detail
This is a 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle 1600cc with lots of aftermarket parts and modifications, including: Topline 4-wheel disk brakes, Airkewld Performance Lowering kit, and Motegi rims. This car has lots of new parts and is in good running and driving condition. It cranks, idles, shifts, and drives very smoothly. The Airkewld suspension makes this car handle like a sports car, while riding very solidly at highway speeds. The car was restored in the last five years. The paint is not show room quality and has a few dings and scratches here and there. However, there is no visible rust on the body or chassis. This car could be made into a show car very easily. New Parts & Modifications: Topline 4-wheel disk brakes (custom drilled to 4x100 bolt pattern) All Brake lines are new New Brake master cylinder Airkewld Performance Lowering Kit Motegi rims Brand New Achilles Tires New 30/31 Pict Carburetor Newly rebuilt heads New Distributor New Fan belt New Ignition coil, spark plugs and wires New Ignition switch New Fuel Pump New Push rod tubes and seals, Main seal, Oil Cooler seal, Valve cover seals New CV Axle (driver's side) New Main rear wiring loom Seats have been re-upholstered in the last year Carpet is less than a year old Window seals are new Door seals are less than a year old Cons: Passenger side seat belt does not retract Steering wheel and dashboard are the originals and are cracked Gas smell when the tank is full (I think it is the gas cap) Blinkers work sporadically (it appears to be a loose connection at the relay. One day they will work, the next they won't)
