For sale is a wonderful 1977 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible. The same couple has owned this car since September of 1987. I even have the ad from which they purchased the car from the original owner. This Beetle is a limited Champagne Edition of which only about 1000 were produced, one for each dealer. The car is factory fuel-injected. A/C is installed but not working, condition unknown. The engine was replaced by the VW dealer (Rod East in San Antonio) in March of 1983 (have receipt). The current owner’s husband passed away and the widow is an elderly lady who does not drive. He owned numerous cars and drove them all very little. The car has been repainted in its original color at some point in its life and some body repair. Almost all records since new including original Monroney sheet. The car has recently been gone over and runs great. Has brand new fuel pump, muffler, brakes, tires, tie rod, and numerous other parts. Current mileage shows 16,276. Mileage appears to be in line with the condition of the vehicle but verification can only be based on receipts available. Buyer is responsible for any shipping costs. While in great shape, this is a used car and is sold as-is. Seller represents no warranty with vehicle. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required within 24 hours of auction ending.
