I bought this Jeep from Rudy's CJs in Northwestern Ohio. Rudy is well respected in the CJ world and specializes in rust and rot free CJs primarily from the west / southwest. I am not thrilled about selling this fine machine but have the opportunity to purchase some hunting land and need to consolidate my "toy" fund. Rudy is aware that I am listing this for sale and graciously offered to let me post the link to his listing. Due to eBay's revised link posting guidelines effective Oct. 1 it would not let me post the link. I have included the information below. Original hardtop and doors were not included in Rudy's sale but I opted to purchase them from him separately for added collectability. They are included in this auction along with soft top and doors and bikini top. Some highlights include: 1982 Jeep CJ-7 from Southern California. No rust or rot. Over $6,000 in receipts for rebuilt 6 cylinder with automatic conversion transmission and Howell fuel injection kit. All work was done about 10,000 miles ago, one receipt is for $4827.00 and the other for $1974.00 for a total of $6,801.00. Original rot free floors and the frame is still black from the factory. Not a typical rusted and patched Midwestern CJ. No bondo or diamond tread hiding things.Paint under the hood is original and the inner fenderwell paint shines after 29 years.Power brakes, power steering, auto trans., and fuel injection which is far more reliable than a common CJ.Newer reclining front seats and uncut original dash.Tilt steering column and factory oversized 20 gallon fuel tank. Custom center console and behind passenger seat front storage.Comes with a tow bar for easy RV pulling for vacations, etc., with wiring ready to be pulled behind your vehicle.
