I am regretfully selling my beautiful 1984 300SD. This car is show quality as it has no dents, scratches, swirl marks or abrasions. All original 27 year old paint with no touch up. It has never been in an accident! It has been garaged all its life , and it shows. I had originally planned to keep this beauty a long time, so I personalized it. I changed out the rims(repros) & lenses(front & rear). I have the stock(rims & lenses) if the auction winner prefers. Otherwise, it is all original! I do all my own maintenance on my cars & I have replaced the following: A/C condenser, brake lines, flex discs, front end suspension, tires, battery & belts. It also has new Bossio injector nozzles, glow plugs, all new fluids & filters & a new hood pad. I also did a valve adjustment @ 45,000mi. This car is mechanically close to perfect & runs like a dream! I also forgot to mention that it gets 26-29MPG!!!!!!!!!!! The interior is close to perfect. The headliner, rubber & dash, seats & carpets are as new. The door seals look brand new. The only flaws are some hairline cracks in the driver door wood trim(I have a new piece), & a blemish on the wood trim shift panel. The exterior is perfect except for a small door ding on the rear fender(doesn't show in pics), a ding on the small chrome front bumper strip(I have a replacement) & a paint scratch on the front bumper. Otherwise it is FLAWLESS!!! This baby can be used as a weekender or an every day driver. It is also show car worthy. I would rate the car a 9.9 out of 10 overall. only because of the few blemishes I mentioned. If these cosmetic fixes are done, it then becomes PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best way I can describe this car is that it looks & smells(inside) like a brand new 1984 Mercedes. PICTURES DO NOT DO HER JUSTICE!!!! This is one of, if not the finest example of this model & color combo in the country. I want her to go to a good home! Inspection & viewing OK.
