Vehicle Detail
Relisted with a lower reserve!! Here is a 1959 Rambler American Super that I purchased from a gentleman that found it stored in a garage for 24 years. The people that owned it previously said it was running when they put it away. The guy I bought it from did a tune up on this and assured me that he had it running by feeding gasoline to the carb from a can. I have not tried this myself, but I believe it will run, and the engine does turn over. This has the optional continental kit on the rear for the spare. The cover is in the trunk. (see pictures) It will need some interior work, as the seats are door panels need replaced. There was no carpet and the floors appear to be fairly solid with only a few small areas that need attention, but will be an easy fix. The trunk is very much the same with a few areas that will need repair. It does have rust through on the inner fender behind the rear wheel on the driver side (see pictures) but there is plenty of room to make a solid repair. Also it is rusted through just below the belt line on the passenger side (see pictures) there again, easy access. The trim and the glass are all very exceptional. All in all this little American is in fairly good shape for a 52 year old automobile. Comes with a clear PA title. This car would be a great original, street rod or an awesome rat rod. I have tried to describe this car as truthful and to the best of my knowledge. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time because car is for sale locally. Questions 814-221-2455.
