You are bidding on MY 1970 Chevelle SS. Yes, It is a TRUE SS that was frame on redone. It boastes an awesome 396 Cu in (casting 961) from a 1966 Chevelle SS. It is unique in that the motor is a 360 hp as oppossed to a 350. I am sure however that it has just a BIT more than that. This car is fast! It hosts the original Quadrojet carb and doesnt skip a beat.The funtional Cowl Induction is quite the kick when you want to go. It is equipted with an M-21 4 speed that performs very well, 12 bolt rear w/ Posi, boxed suspension, front and rear sway bars, front discs. This SS came from the factory with a Z-25-396 equipment package including Black out grill, F-41 (boxed) suspension package and gauge package upgrade (excluding clock). The interior is in great shape, with NO cuts tears or faded areas. There is zero rust on the car. my car is a true SS down to every detail. Build sheet was disintrated when found. It was painted by the previous owner a while back and could stand to be painted if you'd like. The paint is of driver quality and looks great. My car drives like a Caddy when cruisin' and a rocket when you need it to. My family and I do very well at the local cruise in's and turn MANY head in town. As you can see in the photos, it is a very clean, sharp car. I am a little meticulous and keep it covered ALL the time and tend to spend hours just tinkering and cleaning EVERY part of it. It is an awesome driver for someone to enjoy and a great investment. I have to say that it is hard for me to let go, so please, serious inquiries ONLY.
