Vehicle Detail
2008 Triumph Scrambler Original owner, bought new in February 2010 from Triumph Dealer near Atlanta. Still has **WARRANTY** until February 2012. Oil and filter changed at 600 miles (with Mobil 1 Synthetic as recommended by Triumph). 865cc vertical twin, carburettor, Silver/Orange. Never dropped, never ridden in the rain or offroad, always garaged (I'm 45 y/o, and don't ride my bikes "hard"). One pinhead size nick (on left side of tank....see picture, but it's very hard to see). A couple of minor scratches on exhaust (see picture). These blemishes are minor, and hard to see, but I'm trying to give an accurate description, rather than just saying "like new". 2008 was the last year for carbs on the Scrambler, fuel injection is nice on some bikes, but you can't tinker around with it as easily to change the performance parameters. Included Aftermarket and OEM Accessories: Triumph "Off Road" exhaust (and D&D reverse megaphone exhaust...see picture). New Bonneville air injection removal kit, Bellacorse Airbox removal kit with carburetor jet kit, Triumph Center Stand, Triumph Clear Fly Screen, Triumph Grab Rail, Napoleon Brushed Aluminum Round Mirrors from Bellacorse, with mirror extenders for better visibility. Blue Xenon HID headlight bulb. $2000+ in accessories. Triumph exhaust (with Airbox removal kit) sounds incredible and gives bike an extra 7 HP, but feels like 10 or more. Not too loud, but sounds like a Triumph should. Also, the throttle response is incredible compared to stock, thanks in part to the air injection removal kit, with no back pressure or popping, thanks to the airbox removal kit. If you want obnoxious loud, put the D&Ds on. Stock Parts Included: chrome mirrors, stock exhaust (not pictured). Battery wired for tender and kept on it when not riding. Covered in garage with Triumph Dust Cover, which you can have. Clean/clear Alabama title in my possession. Local pickup only. Selling due to a recent sport touring bike purchase; my loss is your gain. This bike previously sold on Ebay for $5800, but the buyer failed to pay for it and became unresponsive. The picture shows 919 miles, but I take it out from time to time and it now has 1150 miles on it. If you bid, please be serious.
