Vehicle Detail

This is a good, honest 2.2E, Coupe, California car with 2 owners. Originally signal orange (code 1414) but repainted black in the 80's (only painted once). Very nice body with all original panels showing the first orange paint wherever there are chips. The front bumper and engine lid were changed when the car was repainted. The doors have proper gaps and close with the nice 'ping' sound these early cars exhibit. Very strong running and driving original matching motor with 5 speed that was converted to new PMO 40 Webers about 8 years ago. I have driven the car frequently over the past month and it is a great driving car. The mechanic that had always worked on the car was very honest about everything and I am very pleased with the motor and gearbox and suspension. It does leave some oil on the ground after being parked overnight. It is matching numbers! The motor is the original - chassis number is 9110220112 and the motor is 6200141. So car number 112 and motor 141. No accidents and the floors are rust free. There is rust around the batteries. There is some rust at the lower edge of the rear window. The pan surrounding the gas tank is rusted from the batteries and will need to be replaced. I have had this same problem on many otherwise dry early 911 and 912's. The interior shows wear matching the mileage of 144,000 with correct original carpet, door panels and pockets. The 14" fuchs that came standard on these 911E's have been replaced with older 15" repro fuchs with older Pirelli's Cinturato's. This is still a presentable early 911 that is a lot of fun to drive now, or an honest example to restore to a high level. Over 80 photos posted for serious buyers to study, nothing to hide on this car! Of course, local inspections are always welcome. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I do have experience with both domestic and international shipping and can help get the car to any local shipping company. I also have had good experiences with a few companies I can recommend. Thank You for looking.
