These Astros  are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in AWD. They're  basically the perfect work van: great balance of power, fuel economy, and  drivability. They have a higher cabin interior height than other comparable  models, they're easy to drive, and they are extremely durable. It's a shame  they don't make'm any more. We've bought these Astro vans from all  over the country from PHH fleet leasing. We've been buying their Astros for  probably 8+ years and I don't think we've had one major problem in 100+  units. They always take great care of their vehicles. This guy looks very well kept, runs and drives very well, tidy  interior, no smoke smell, probably freeway mileage only. It hasn't seen road  salt. It's simple, will do great in snow, and  probably has another 150-200k left to go. It's a great workhorse and the  price is right!       exterior       The paint and  body on this guy are very presentable for work. White doesn't show much for wear.  There's no obvious damage, bad scratches or reasons you wouldn't want your  logos on the van. The wheels look fine and tires all have good tread. The  bumpers are straight and doors all open / close easily. The windshield is  new. The front grille is faded  out and so are the mirrors. Our cost is about $70 on the grille and  $75/mirror if you'd like new ones. We'll install free of charge. The van has  a little bubbly rust on the right rear lower rocker just in front of the  tire, probably had a dent that was fixed and they didn't prime it properly.  The hood has some kind of fade that's eaten at the clearcoat a bit. You  can't see it in the sun at all, only in the shade. It's not that bad, I've  shown in the photos clearly what it looks like. It's a good looking van and fine for  work, just shows 10 years of light use work though as you'd expect.       interior       The interior is  all very clean. It smells pleasant, don't think it's been smoked in. There's  no rips or burns in the upholstery. You can tell right off, it has all  freeway mileage because the side of the drivers seat isn't all worn out from  getting in and out a lot. It's simple inside, not a lot to break. Everything works. Both the front and rear spaces are  clean, only very light normal use wear. The racks are a great bonus.       mechanical       This Astro runs  and drives excellent and should. 143k might sound like a few miles, but  these vans are very very hard to kill. We received it in nice operating  order, no odd noises, warning lights, or wet leaks. It's almost bone dry  underneath, really no leaks at all, and it's rust free. It has a ton  of service records on the Carfax and Autocheck. Autocheck lists them in  Ohio, but I've been under this van and it has certainly never ever seen Ohio  salt. It's likely the corporate office of whatever service station here in  Colorado was located in Ohio and they reported the services. The motor sounds nice and quiet. It  drives very straight, shifts perfect every time, transmission fluid is about  1/2 life, if you want us to change it, figure $60. The oil and filter are new. The  front brake rotors and pads are brand new and rears are fine. The serp belt looks fine,  hoses ok. This van is work ready and needs nothing. you're welcome to fly in  and drive home anywhere.       comments       This is a neat  work van and a great buy!
