-1962 Pontiac Tempest, 4 cylinder, 195 cubic inch, 4 door, automatic transaxle. -79,000 miles -Car is currently a roller - the engine is out of the car and disassembled. -I have a lot of digital pictures of the engine compartment and engine as I disassembled it, to help in reassembly. -Original engine, bored out .030, disassembled, without camshaft (got lost at machine shop). -Spare engine, found on ebay. It might have a cracked head, but it does have a camshaft for core. -New pistons, rings, cam bearings(installed), main bearings, gasket set. -Used 4-barrel carb, needs rebuild, not original to this car. -Used 4-barrel intake manifold, not original to this car. -Freshly rebuilt large valve head from a 389. -Nearly new tires, but they’re probably 8 years old. -All good glass and trim. -Seats were recovered about 7 years ago – look very nice. -Most of the sheet metal has had some bad bondo work and rough paint job. -I am moving and the new house doesn’t have room for the Tempest.
