Up for sale is a 1975 BMW 2002 Automatic. I'm the third owner and has kept it garaged the entire time I've had it. I don't get to drive the car much and would like to sell to someone who will enjoy it more than me. The car is in very good condition for its age. The car has had one respray in the early 90's I believe and it shows well. Info about the car: * The body does have some minor dings and scrapes but no real body damage. * There is NO RUST on the car that I can find at all. It has been kept very dry since the 70's. The interior shows well, what you would expect from a vintage car. * The seats are worn but they have sheepskin covers which are in good condition. The remainder of the interior (door panels, carpet and headliner) is in very good shape. * New tires. * The carburetor was rebuilt professionally before I purchased the car. Speedometer does not work but the clock does. All lights, horn, etc work. NO sunroof in the car. Wired for a radio with new antenna but no radio.* NO power steering* Color info: http://www.dagsites.com/2002colors.htm (Malaga/Maroon/Burgundy - or very similar) Overall a great daily driver car for the city or weekend driver to the store. I have just renewed the CA registration for another year so it's good till June 2012. No smog needed although I believe the car still has all its smog equipment on the engine. Car was originally purchased new in San Jose, CA and has spent its whole life in the Bay Area. Original manual and owner's book from Day 1 are included. This '75 is a good clean example of a later 2002. Can meet a shipper for pickup but cannot arrange shipping for car. Happy bidding!
