This 2004 BMW R1150R was just traded in by it's original owner on a new car. He decided that since he didn't have time to ride it, and he didn't want it to sit in his garage collecting dust, trading it in was the right thing to do. Now we are offering it for sale at "no reserve" to one lucky bidder, so that it may be used as it should be, providing someone with countless hours of enjoyable riding. When I acquired this bike, I immediately checked the fluids and tire pressures, and then departed on a nice road trip. I was not disappointed! I deal in many bikes and was pleasantly surprised by the smooth ride, unexpectedly strong acceleration, fabulous braking, and otherwise impeccable road manners! The bike carves corners like a sport bike, accelerates quicker than I ever would have imagined, and the anti-lock brakes haul it down so rapidly, I quickly adapted to 2 finger braking on the front lever, and very little use of the rear brakes at all. The clutch take up and gearbox action are both buttery smooth, and so good in fact, that other manufacturers would do well to copy them. The bike is in excellent shape as a 3900 mile bike should be. The only faults that I can find are, a small ding in the tank, a scrape on the right side valve cover, and some scratches on the luggage rack, all of which you can see in the pictures.
