Your bidding on an extremely clean well maintained ,dealer serviced Mercedes Benz. This car has always been maintained to the utmost degree the owner went to the extreme of replacing the original diesel engine at 240,000 miles with a Mercedes Benz crate engine complete for the cost of $13,000.00 . There is one problem with the car and I am told that it is very common . Once the car warms up and the transmission fluid thins out you need to rev the engine a little more than normal to get the car to move in reverse . I am told that this is caused by wear on the reverse clutches in the transmission. I have not done any research to find out the cost of repair. The body and paint are in excellent condition no dents or dings and no signs of any rust. The interior is just the same no rips or and it shows very little wear . Everything works in this car and the air conditioning is ice cold . There are no warning lights of any kind . The rest of the running gear in this car is in great shape the brakes work great the tires on the front are app. 50 % worn the rears are like new . This car runs, drives and looks like it did in 1991 with just a little wear . You will be thoroughly impressed with this car . It is my understanding that the engine was replaced at a different Mercedes dealer but there is supporting documentation to quantify the new crate engine.
