I am listing our "2001 Ford Excursion Limited" for sale. My retired husband and myself sold our camping trailor and bought a 5th wheel camping trailor. In order to pull the new trailor we needed a pickup with the fifth wheel attachment in the bed. This means that we no longer have a use for the Excursion. She has been a great truck and we have done many updates to her that are listed below. Truck info: -Truck is originally from Kentucky. -2001 Ford Excursion Limited 4X4 with trailor/tow package. -Milage: 129k. -Engine: V10 fuel injected. -Transmission: Automatic and is only 1 year old with a two year warranty, 1 year left on warranty. -Interior: Tan leather with keyless entry. Updates include: -Complete upgrade to the front nose of the truck. We had all new parts put on the front of the truck which incude: new chrome bumper, new bumper pad, new bumper valance, 2 new headlights, new chrome grill with billet inserts, 2 new fog lights and all the correct brackets for the updates. -New transmission with about 1year left on the warranty. -All new front and back brakes, ceramic lifetime brake pads and crossed drilled and slotted rotors. -All new front and back "BDS" shocks. -The truck has a 5 inch lift with reworked leaf springs. -All the front suspension has been replaced and is all new with in the last 6 months including all the ball joints. -A/C has new seals and works great! -New 180 amp alternator. -New surpentine belt. -All new coils and plugs with complete tune up in April of this year. -Throttle body spacer, this gives you better performance and gas milage. -New exaust with 3 inch aluminized pipe and a three chamber "flow master" muffler with a 4 inch stainless tailpipe. All installed in April of this year. -Tinted windows. -Upgraded 2008 trailor/tow mirrors. -We had the two tone tan color that was originally on the bottom of truk painted the same color as the truck, now the truck is a solid color. -The hubs have been updated to "Warn" premium locking hubs. -New heavy duty dual steering stabilizer shocks. -New fuel pump assembly was installed in May of this year. -New battery was installed in February of this year with a 5yr warranty. -Radio: Clarion VX409 with 7 inch screen. Radio is wired to watch movies when on the road. Great for the grand children or if you have kids. -Alarm system with automatic start. Brand: Code Alarm. -Rims: KMC XD Series Model: XD766 Size: 20X10. -Tires: Toyo Open Country M/T Size: 35X12.50R20 LT. Maintenence: -Oil changes are done every 3500 miles and we only use full "Synthetic" oil. We are asking $10,500.00 for the Excursion and we believe you will not find a better truck out there with all the same updates that we have done. We also have the truck up for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Over all exterior condition: The truck is 12 years old with a build date of 8/24/2000. So the truck is not perfect, the driver door has a little rust starting on the inside bottom of it but the rest of the truck is in great condition.
