1968 Mustang GT Fastback 302 4v automatic transmission. Vin 8T0J13xxxx I have owned this car since 1984 and completed the restoration and put it back on the road April 2010. Drove the Mustang about 7,000 miles since completing, including a 1,400-mile round trip. Replaced the Floor pans, Torque Boxes, Trunk Floor and Quarters with full patch panels. The engine is a 1970 was rebuilt with moly rings, new main and rod bearings with Edelbrock cam and roller timing chain. Heads were ported to the exhaust gasket with comp cam roller tip rockers. Holley 4v Carburetor. Dual Exhaust with glass packs. Wheels are from a 1969 Mach 1 Front Brakes are Disc from a Ford Granada with new rotors and rebuilt calipers in May 2011. Rear brakes are the original drum, new in April 2010. The steering gear is the original non-power for GT model that is quicker ration then non GT. The tie rod ends, idler arm, center link and front and rear springs were all new. The brake lines were all replaced. Differential is 3.25 ratio 9 inch housing. Paint color is Silver Frost, a 1967 Ford color. Original color is Lime Gold. Did not install C-strips or Rocker moldings because I did not think it needed it, looked good as is. The interior was restored with new front seat covers, carpet, Door Panels. Has original roof console and floor console.
