Vehicle Detail
For BMW enthusiast X5 needs good home. This X5 was purchased used in 2004 and has been part of the family ever since. Tough economic times necessitate the sale of beloved family member. My wife says she gotta go-I think she's jealous but really I can't afford her anymore (the car-not my wife, silly) with the cost of gas and maitenance. She needs some TLC but is in good mechanical condition (see the list below). She is still an amazing sight to behold with a few signs of age (e.g., couple of chips in windshield previously repaired but needing redo, small door dings on the rear driver's side passenger door, touch up paint on the left rear fender, missing window trim around rear passenger side window and a few rock chips on the hood). I tried to show all physical defects in pics but some are so minute they are barely visible. I do have the rear window trim (brand new OEM but uninstalled). The door dings can be removed with paintless dent repair for about $150-as I said its not in the budget for now. The interior is nearly flawless. The leather seats are in good condition (no rips, holes or stains just normal wear). She is loaded with sports package including sport seats. She has 6 disc CD changer in the rear and an old school cassette deck up front with widescreen display and BMW DSP premium sound. Upgraded standard CD Nav computer with DVD Nav and installed Dual Headrest DVD by Invision (includes two remotes and headphones for viewing seperate movies on each monitor). Great project for the home mechanic or enthusiast. Recently, I had left passenger window regulator replaced (and complimentary BMW service inspection). The result: she needs driver's door air-bag harness or main unit replaced (air bags have never been deployed-possibly damaged when the window regulator was replaced on the driver's window-, e-brake repair, both front thrust arm bushings and left rear trailing arm bushing will need to be replaced. She has been regularly maintained with full synthetic oil services around evry 7500 miles. I have all service records since I've owned her. Feel free to contact me with any questions. She is being sold "as is". Buyer is responsible for inspection and pick up.On Sep-22-11 at 12:36:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to list earlier: She will also need both rear axle seals repaired as they are leaking. Services due soon include: annual injection, coolant flush and brake fluid flush. Newer Cooper Tires have about 30-40k but show some wear quite possibly due to the above mentioned suspension issues.
