1957 Chevrolet 3100 “Second Series” Big Window Pick Up Truck. This is a rare “PROJECT TRUCK” that is in really good condition for the age of the vehicle. “THE TRUCK IS TITLED IN MY NAME”. Title will be notarized after payment is received prior to shipping or pick up by the buyer with the winning price for tax purposes. The truck has had new corner cabs welded in along with a gas tank installed between the frame rails in the rear under the bed area. It has a straight six cylinder engine with three speed transmission on the steering column. The floorboard and frame are in real good condition. Has original stainless steel trim for around back window. No windshield, side glass is alright, rear glass is decent shape also. There are bubbles in the glass areas on the truck windows. Back window is in pretty decent shape. I tried to show these flaws in the pictures of glass. Side windows are hard to get up and down? Truck has not been started for over a year, but is not locked up and will run. Front fenders are decent but are not perfect. Bed is pretty solid but could use some body work also. Look at all pictures before you bid. I tried to take some good pictures from all angles including the underside. With some work and a few parts this could be a nice driver. Truck has heavy primer in some areas and in my opinion needs to be block sanded out. Truck has original hubs, frame components, engine and transmission. Doors are in good shape also but may need some work. Tires are not in good shape for street driving, just for moving the truck around to work on it. This truck is not rock solid, but it is not rotted either, it is pretty solid and I am sure it has had some work done on the sheet metal in 54 years? I have NO REAR FENDERS for the bed. The truck is 54 years old and in pretty good condition. Some of the work was done on this vehicle prior to me owning it, so I have tried to cover all items I am aware of with this vehicle.” EXTRA PARTS” are pictured and are included with the truck.
