i have a 1966 chevrolet truck,short wide bed.truck has a '77 model 350 with a saginaw 4 speed.it has an open 12 bolt rearend with 3.73-4.10 gears.still drum brakes and manual steering. truck is pretty good shape overall.does have some rust in the floors out near the rockers(someone has glassed over it).driver side fender has been patched,pass fender has a thin area in it.bottoms of doors are good,bed sides good,tail gate is good also.hood has a dent in the front of it.truck a fairly new 3 core radiator.i do have a chrome front bumper,but it is bent. truck runs excellant.has an eldebrock carb and intake with headers and dual exhaust.has 8" ralleys with good tires.3 are bfg,1 odd.shifter is a little sloppy,and the paint on the dash is cracked.interior needs to be stripped and re-painted.needs gaskets replaced around windows.window crank posts are stripped,as are the door handle post.someone previously replaced the wood in the bed with a piece of 1/8" steel.it is tack welded to the bed supports on the bottom.easily removed.i replaced the front brakes,front wheel bearings,and seals about 5 weeks ago. gas gauge does not work.headlights,tailights,turn signals,and wipers work as they should.truck came from the carolina's approx. 2 years ago.truck is titled with 88K actual miles.odometer is showing 88946 as of today.i do drive this truck occasionally so mileage may change.the speedometer cable is making a little noise,and probally needs changed or lubed.speedometer and odometer do work.there is also a 2 knob pioneer radio in the truck,it lights up,but there are no speakers. this is a fun little truck,and an excellant restoration canidate.i just have too many projects.truck has a fair reserve on it,i am just looking to get my $ back out of it.truck is currently registered in my name,and insured,with no liens against it.
