Vehicle Detail

In very good original condition. And by original, I mean has the two rear side window shades, operable. Also on the rear window. Has the ashtrays on both sides in back, also the robe bar and foot bar commonly missing on these models. Comes with an optional heater, couldn't get the fan to work, but it is free spinning. Heater works! All windows roll up and down as expected except the windshield, the gear is stuck I think. I put a new 6 volt battery on 3 months ago, and replaced the original fuel line from sediment filter bowl to tank as it had rubbed a pinhole in the original on the battery box. Tires hold air. The vinyl type roof material is in excellent condition but is pulled loose at each corner about 2 inches, needs re-fastened. The door sill needs replaced on passenger side. This is the only wood that is damaged as far as I know. It is dry rotted I believe. The car is missing the following parts only.2 wheel hub covers. (these are trim only)1 door sill trim plate. (the other front one needs replaced)The outside visor for the windshield is missing. What doesn't work:the windshield wiperdome lightheater fankey won't turn in door locksrear passenger door won't open from outside, I think it is a linkage rod problem, opens fine from inside. That's everything I know that is wrong with this car. It has no rust, period. It's as solid as they get. All the interior is in place. The car has the original paint and the patina to match. The engine is the correct (verified factory year #'s) type of stovebolt 6, and seems to have ample power. It starts easily. The clutch and transmission operable and they seem to operate correctly. This car has been in dry basement storage since 1976, and in dry barn storage for many years prior to that. It should probably be in a museum. If your looking for an ORIGINAL car in pretty darn good shape, this is it. No halfway restoration job here, you have a complete, solid car you can drive today, or really do it up right. Questions? Call 870-955-8175 and talk to Darryl. I have a video of the car starting and driving.
