For sale my low mileage 1975 BMW 530i. I love this car and don't really want to part with it, but I don't drive it much and have my sights on a Z4 - anyone want to trade..? Seriously though, I am only the 2nd owner. I picked it up in September of 2002 with 63.8k miles on it from the original owner. It has only ever been in California or Idaho where it has spent most of its time and is rust free. This car has always been garage kept and is in great condition for its age. It is not perfect, but it is a very good example of a 1975 530i. The paint is in good condition but there are some dings and scratches and portions of missing clear coat. I believe the paint is original, but I am not 100% certain of this. The interior is in very good condition although there is a small tear in the driver's seat; the rear seat is immaculate. The cassette player worked the last time I tried it a few years ago. The AC was serviced in 2003 and at that time a new receiver dryer was put in. It worked great for a few years but now needs to be re-charged. The engine is a 176 hp 3.0L electronic fuel injected inline 6. It fires right up and sounds great. It was recently serviced with new plugs, cap, rotor, wire and points. Kind of weird the motor has electronic fuel injection and still has points. That's a bimmer for ya. The car also drives great, truly a fun car to drive. I have all the paper work for everything I have had done to the car. The custom car cover is also included in the sale.
