Thanks for looking, I am offering a beautiful 1969 Olds Toronado in all original excellent condition! This is a one (family) owned car that was a special order "holiday coupe edition" back in 1968. She was the first 1969 Toronado in CA and was used in the 1969 Miss America Pageant Parade in Northern CA to promote the new 1969 Olds Toronado. She is all original except for: paint (original exterior color was a chestnut brown,) new carpet, new weather stripping and a new vinyl top. She has her original 455 that purr's perfectly with 123k miles. This is a very unique opportunity to win an excellent condition survivor that runs and drives great! She was a special order car with: The holiday coupe interior package (leather/cloth seats, etc,) electric power antenna with am/fm radio, telescopic/tilt steering, power brakes, power locks, power steering, power windows, a/c, courtesy light group, rear speakers, clock and more. I am selling this car for the original owners. The original owner is very old and has no knowledge of computers or ebay. I am offering this beautiful Toranado for the original owners and i am sharing everything about this vehicle to be 100% honest and up front as possible. It is now a non-op CA registration due to being in storage for the past few years. If your a CA buyer....She comes with her original 1969 black license plates!!!! Mechanically: She runs, drivers and shifts perfectly. Her brakes are new and she has had a new cam shaft and timing chain installed aprox, 20k miles ago. The only imperfections mechanically are: The oil pan gasket and trani pan gasket needs to be replaced eventually....some dripping. The car comes with a new oil pan gasket. She also comes with extra oil filters, belts, 2 new front wheel drive axles, original valve covers, original floor mat, lead additive, jumper cables, jack and more. Please note: The car does not need these items to be replaced, they are just extra items that come with the car. She sounds like a muscle car when running due to the dual exhaust and 455 engine w/390hp....so nice :) Interior: The interior is in very good condition and all original. Everything works perfectly except for a few things. The only imperfections are: Drivers seat and rear drivers side lower seat need to be reupholster. Seat covers are on those parts of the seat now as you can see in the pictures. The head light switch needs the vacuum line attached for the head light covers to work properly and the power seats need the vacuum line attached to work properly. The a/c has been removed, but all parts come with the car. The rest of the interior options all work fine. Exterior: The exterior has had a recent paint job. The body and under carriage are rust free and in excellent condition. Exterior imperfections: Some "very light" surface rust on rear bumper just above the dual exhaust and a small ding on the hood (this is the picture with my finger.) She has never been in an accident and has always been stored in a garage. She is now being stored in a heated garage in Meadow Vista CA and the car can be seen and driven by appointment. I feel confident you could drive this car across the country tomorrow if you wanted to. I would not consider her a high end show car (yet) or a low end driver. She is a beautiful original survivor that can be loved and enjoyed just as she is or easily brought up to a high end show car level. The buy it now price is set very low due to the original owners request for a quick sale....for thousands less than her book value....a great opportunity to invest in a one of a kind classic.
