Up for consideration is a 72 R75/5 in good running condition. The bike starts easily and runs good. I rebuilt the carbs, ran new fuel lines, put in new plugs, cleaned the tank, changed the fluids, adjusted the valves, so its had a minor service ready to ride. The tank has some condtion issues as the pictures point out. The inside of the tank is not perfect. The factory coating has come off and there is some rust. Its certainly repairable. Brakes work very good and the tires are in OK condtion. Shifts fine through all gears. The speedometer, tach,and odometer work fine. However, like most of these bikes the needle has bowed a bit and does not rest on the stop post. I would guess the mileage is accurate, but I have no way of saying for sure. As you can see from the pictures, the numbers match and are correct. The charging system seems to be working fine. All the "dash" lights in the speedo work as well as all the other electricals. The fork boots need replaced. New ones go with the bike. Also, the bike will NOT come with a battery. I bought the bike to use for parts, but its way to good for that. As a result, I have it up for sale. I do not know any history of the bike. Clear Maryland title in my name has been applied for and will come with the bike. Contact me with any questions.
