I transplanted a built/balanced 351 Cleveland that desktop dynoed at 330hp and 400 ft-lbs torque at 3000 rpm. All of that work was professionally done locally at Blanchard's, a local engine shop; I have the receipts. Edelbrock performer intake and thunder series 650cfm carb, holley fuel pump, custom dual exhaust. That's hooked to a C6 automatic with a stage 2 shift kit, new balanced drive shaft and a new 8" rear with 3.55:1 traction-loc. It has a Randall's power rack and pinion steering setup, front disk/rear drum power brakes. The front end has the shelby mod which lowers the upper a-arms, new joints, control arms and springs. I had the Mustang's Plus chassis stiffening kit put in it and had the bottom of the car and engine bay painted by a local professional. For comfort, I installed leather front seats out of a mitsubishi eclipse, power driver side, along with a new grant steering wheel (I'm 6'4", so I wanted legroom). Of course the original seats can go with. It has an aftermarket Kenwood radio/cd player w/remote, and a small tube amp/sub in the trunk. I use it as a daily driver during the warmer months; it is very reliable and drives well. It could use a paint job, but it's still a looker. I don't think you'll be disappointed, especially with no reserve!
