Call me crazy, but I have lowered the Buy It Now to $7500.00. $13+k valuation for about 1/2 price. This is an absolute "steal", for a classic, muscle car that is in excellent condition, ready to roll. Just need someone to buy and enjoy it. Here it is........ turnkey, show/go, custom TransAm. Who will step forward ? DESCRIPTION: A Beautiful, One Of A Kind, custom 1982 Trans Am, T-Tops, Brand new custom rally stripes.....This TransAm is in really nice condition inside and out. In 2005, this 26k original miles trans am went through a complete transformation. It has spent nearly its entire life in Florida. Over $15k invested in the body and engine to make it what it is. I want this sale to be be cost affordable and attractive to prospective buyers, who I want to see GET a great deal and LOVE this car. Multiple car show winner. Several Trophies/Awards will come with the car to the new owner. Buy It Now, or make a reasonable offer. Check out my feedback, and you will know that I deal fairly and honestly. Less than 1000 miles on the built 350V8 engine and drivetrain. It is a 5.7L V8, not the 5.0 that is on the Ebay template. Drivetrain from front to back is like new and should perform for many years to come with proper care. No exhaust smoke, no fluid leaks of any kind are evident. Exterior should dazzle any classic car enthusiast. NO RESERVE WITH A BUY IT NOW.....OR MAKE AN OFFER !.. DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTIFUL, GREAT DRIVING TRANS AM ! TURNKEY and GO. 1600 viewers in first auction, with many watchers.......someone missed out on a great deal ! In my opinion, the BEST investment you can make. Hagerty Classic Car (Full) Insurance valued at just around $14k. Dr. Bob Mangus..... mdesigns@dmrtc.net or (812) 636-7817. This go round, I am starting the auction with a no reserve price, with a buy it now option. It will either draw interest/bids, or a BIN buyer who has to have it, or you may be the lucky one to get it at the starting bid. Either way is just fine with me. REASON FOR SELLING: The only reason for selling is my current health. I spent months looking for this particular style and performance in a vehicle. Unfortunately, I have had a reoccurance of my sciatica, which makes shifting/clutching through the gears a very painful experience. I should have known better! There is nothing to hide or complain with the car. If it were an automatic transmission, I would not be selling it. It is the very best and most powerful classic car I have had the pleasure to own. I am not in a must sell situation, Outright purchase is preferred. I want you to be the next, proud owner of this stunning Trans Am, Trades? maybe.....what have you? Conservatively, the car is well worth $10 - $11k as it sits, and next owner who has some time, will have the opportunity to own and enjoy, then sell at a handsome profit. I would, but just don't have the time. I need it out of the garage for my other car. I do not want to have to let this sit out in the weather, since it hasn't done so, since at least 2005, when it went through restomod. This Trans Am started life with 305 V8. It now has a built 350 V8 and 4 Speed, with posi traction rear end. The transmission and clutch are tight and responsive with no noises or anything of concern. The engine, transmission and rear end are dry and do not leak any fluids of any kind have been evident. No smoke or any funny noises. A beautiful running/sounding machine. The exterior has a one of a kind integrated lower wide body kit all the way around, and was finished with a beautiful & even Viper yellow paint with 5 coats of clear over. The paint is bright, deep, and everyone will know you when you are coming or going. The lower body kit on it gives it a very mean look, and is very fast and responsive. A lot of time and money was put into making it look and perform as it does today. The work was done professionally and with class. It has primarily been a south Florida car. NO RUST ISSUES ! This Trans Am is a one of kind, and the new owner will be extremely pleased. A must have car for the collector or investor. It has been well taken care of through the years, and well worth your consideration. Turns heads everywhere it goes, whether just cruising around or if you show it. It has won multiple car show awards over the past 6 years, and the trophies/awards come along with the car to the new owner. The photos tell all. Not beat on or raced. SEE THE LONG LIST OF FEATURES/NEW STUFF ON THIS TRANS AM BELOW. If you should win the bid on this Trans Am, I require a $500 deposit by PayPal, with the balance due within 10 days by electronic bank to bank transfer. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and cost, and I am readily available to assist your shipper in any way I can from this end for a smooth transaction. The car will not be released until all funds are received and cleared. Serious bidders only, with positive ratings. As beautiful and mechanically sound as the Trans Am is, it is nearly 30 years old, and is sold as is. Upholstery is very good to excellent. No disappointments. The following is a list of things that the new owner may want to address (if desired):Dashboard has tiny cracks in the center. In no way do these cracks take away from the beauty of the interior. Needs a horn button on the newer Grant GT steering wheel. There is an occasional, tiny spider cracks. You cannot notice them unless you are looking for them, and you are right upon them or are specifically looking for them. Speedometer/Odometer was never reconnected on the rebuild. Tachometer and other gauges all work. Aftermarket under dash gauges could be replaced. Driver side lower fender body kit has a very minor chip and crack. Driver side quarter panel has very minor spider cracking in the paint. I took a photo, and you have to be right on top of it to see. Emergency brake works, but needs to be tightened. Its time for an all around wheel balance, and I plan to have that done prior to sale. A/C components have long been removed. DEPOSIT/SHIPPING/DISCLAIMERS: The vehicle is licensed, and has full coverage and appraised at insured value by Hagerty Classic Car Insurance. Hagerty does not insure anything that they feel is not at the value they set. My asking price is way under what Hagerty will fully insure for the new owner. You can bid with confidence that this investment will increase in value over the coming years. Don’t wait around just to see someone else get the classic car that you have wanted or dreamed of. Buy it now, or make a reasonable, respectable offer. If you have questions, please ask before the end of auction. Prospective buyers are always welcome to come inspect, or have a 3d party inspect. There will absolutely be no joy riders or tire kickers with this one. This Trans Am is road worthy and ready to roll. It is beautiful car, and you may want to consider having it shipped to you by a reliable transport company. I will assist in any way I can with your chosen transport company. I have had and sold many classic cars on Ebay over my lifetime. All to new homes and very satisfied new owners. This Trans Am is bright, big/bold, fast, and extremely good looker. It is a definite head turner, and is a great driver, or go show it at your local auto shows. Make this one yours ! I require a $500 PayPal non-refundable, down payment with this purchase, and balance paid by cash, certified bank check, or bank wire transfer. Please be as serious with your bid, as I am in providing you a serious, honest assessment of the car. If you have less than 10 feedback, or negative feedback, please contact me for further instructions. Again……….this car is very nice, and the new owner will be extremely pleased. I am not a dealer. The car is very nice, but because of its age is sold strictly as is, where is. I have been extremely upfront and honest with description and photos. If you have any questions or want to discuss a possible deal, be sure to contact me before the auction ends. Dr. Bob Mangus, Email: mdesigns@dmrtc.net Telephone: (812) 636-7817. I am the owner of this vehicle.
