Rare 1963 Olds Super 88 Holiday hardtop up for auction with NO RESERVE, bid early and often! This Oldsmobile is the highly sought after Super 88 "Holiday" model with the famous ultra high compression "Skyrocket" 10.25-to-1 big block 394 V8 producing 330 horsepower and 440lb ft. of torque. She's a real sleeper- a true musclecar sedan, will smoke the tires if you hit the gas. Hardtop model, no post between front and rear seats for open, breezy cruising. Bought from an older couple who've owned it since the mid 90's, lots of service records included. 67k on odometer supposed to be original. Options include power steering, power brakes, factory seat belts, "safety sentinel" (buzzes when you exceed preset speed) and air conditioning which has been retrofitted with modern freon and is operational. Since I've owned the Olds I put in a new radiator, heater control valve, new hoses, fuel pump and water pump. Previous owners over the last 10 years did new dual exhaust, brake and fuel lines, windshield wiper motor, wheel cylinders, brake pads and a new carburetor. Olds was repainted about 20 years ago, looks good from 10 feet but could use a repaint. Bumpers are a bit dull but straight and solid, chrome and stainless trim in good shape. Floors and trunk floor solid, never patched. Interior is in good shape, dash is perfect with no cracks or warping, door panels nice, headlinder is good with no tears or sagging. Driver's seat has some seams opening but is cushy and comfortable. Windows are tinted, good job with no bubbling or tears. Manual windows including butterfly windows work perfectly. Will need new new weatherstripping around windows. Afermarket cassette player professionally installed in factory tissue box under dash, orginal radio still works through dash speaker. Horn, defrost, heat, dash lights, wipers, speedometer and all exterior lights work properly. Always starts easily even after sitting awhile, garage floor is dry when I pull her out. Cruises nicely on the highway, holds the road perfectly. Runs very strong, LOTS of power from the 394 V8, tracks straight as an arrow and brakes evenly, no pulling or fading, suspension and steering are tight. Drives overall like a sporty American classic should. VIN is 635T02436. Nice original blue and white color combination, I always get smiles and "thumbs up" when I take her out.
