Vehicle Detail
1967 Chevrolet Nova ( Chevy II)..This car does not have a title but still has the VIN tag and body plate so aquiring a title is not a problem.. Please read entire ad!!!.. If you win the auction and want the engine it will be a additional $3500.00 which as you know is very cheap... I just took possession of a 1967 Chevy II hardtop, it has SS/BM on the window and the person i got the car from said it was indeed run in SS/BM but when no one knows... Previous owner took it out a few times to drive it....He really did not know much about it. The car has a cage ( certification has expired 1997-98) but should certify with no problem..Has funny car cage. 12 bolt rearend with 514 gear ( previous owner said it had a 614 gear) 4-Link with aluminum Koni coilovers Strange 35 spline axles,5/8 studs Wheelie bars Weld pro stars all the way around 12X33 Goodyear slicks Wilwood disc brakes all the way around Fuel cell Powerglide trans ( low gear ratio unknown) with shield, deep pan Koni front shocks Magnaflow fuel pump Grant steering wheel (2) Jaz seats with covers Autometer tach 358 cubic inch small block, was told it was originally built by Patterson racing in Kansas but has since had the block changed..I can not confirm that. Lunati roller camshaft BME rods and pistonsNice aluminum hamburger oil pan Jesel rockers and timing belt Brodix -10 cyl heads ( highly ported) along with the intake manifold)GM crankshaft SFI balancerNew CSR flexplateMatching A-1 tq. converter Moroso elec water pump stock style radiator MSD 7al-2, 2 step B&M pro stick shifter >>>THE ENGINE IS NOT INSTALLED IN THE CAR ( the pics show a different engine that was sold) IT WILL BE ON A ENGINE CRADLE...It would need a Chevy II type oil pan<<< All steel except for dzuz on cowl hood Stock windows ( front side glasses go up and down) Stock dash Hooker headers If this car was in pristine condition it would be a $60k-$75k car but guess what? Its NOT in pristine shape! Actually it could use some body work and paint work. as it has a few issues and some paint bubbling on lower rocker in front of wheel opening. The floors appear to be good. And if you are real picky ( or real big) you might to re-do the cage in the car..and whatever else in your opinion needs changed. If you are a paint and body man, and had a new cage installed it would be great! ( the current cage will certify though). Now dont get me wrong, you can take it to the track just like it is as its ready to go ( install engine) and you would probably get a few thumbs up from people from the wheel stands it will do and with the rpm it will turn. Was told that this car has been a race car for a very long time.. This is about as much as i know about the car.... Please do not expect a " best appearing" or Best engineered" car for this kind of money Although i do have a 67 Hardtop that i would take $65k for that is pretty nice. Maybe i am under promising the car a little but the average super stocker is very nice and that is what i am basing it on... It would be a great super stocker ( still has everything there to bolt a stock hood on as well if you chose to not run a modified class). Great 10.5 car, bracket car, super street, pro street or?? 66-67 hardtops are getting harder to find everyday..... Please serious bidders only... I have it listed her locally and reserve the right to end the auction, would consider trading for nice 36ft-45 ft enclosed trailer ( no cheapys) Thank you...my email is raceandwin1@yahoo.comOn Sep-16-11 at 13:57:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Engine is not available for $3500.00..Please email me for info..
