Here is an absolutely gorgeous and PHS Documented, real, 1967 GTO 2-Dr HT! It was built in Pontiac, This is evidenced by the absolutely rock solid and rust free body on this beautiful Muscle car! The prior owner started restoring it approximately 15 years ago and subsequently lost interest and put it in storage for most of those 15 years. It was purchased from him about a year ago and the restoration was recently finished. I consider the restoration to be gorgeous and my accompanying photos will confirm this! The following is a list of factory and added options as it is currently equipped: -400 Cu In 335 HP V8 Engine -Turbo Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission -Hurst His and Hers Floor Shifter w/ Console -Factory Style Air Conditioning (Cold) -Power Steering -Factory Style Hood Tach -Bucket Seats -Rally II Wheels -P225/70R14 Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTS RWL Radial Tires -Panasonic AM FM Cassette Radio The VIN is: 242177P220901 The body on this little GTO is absolutely as rock solid and rust free. The floor pans, trunk floor and all the underside sheet metal, while not detailed, is totally original and untouched with no attempt to hide or cover anything up. Other than a repair to the right rear quarter panel, there doesn't appear to be any other prior accident history to the body and the frame looks straight and true. The body is straight as an arrow and the paint job is a stunning, show quality, base coat - clear coat finish that has been sanded and buffed to a high luster! It is painted it's original color of Tyrol Blue Metallic and it has the Parchment interior. All the chrome trim is either new or rechromed original. The stainless trim was all removed and polished and the emblems are all new. The glass is in great condition and the windshield is new. All the weatherstripping is new and the Rally II wheels have been restored to original condition! The interior was restored with new upholstery to include new seats, door panels, carpets and headliner and it looks awesome! The color is the original Parchment which is a pearl white and very rich looking! The gauges are clean and bright and the dash woodgrain has been replaced. The dash pad has one small mark but otherwise, it's beautiful! The console is in great shape and it includes the Hurst His and Hers Shifter that is a first year GTO option. The gauges all appear to work as they should and it has mechanical temp and oil pressure gauges. The air conditioning blows Ice Cold and the heater core is new! The wipers, radio and all the running lights work as they should and the horn is not working. Mechanically, this is one of the nicest running and driving Muscle Cars that I have ever driven! The prior owner had started with the mechanical restoration and it is apparent that the engine was rebuilt, as well. I performed a dry compression test and the results are as follows:#1 - 150psi, #2 - 148psi, #3 - 155psi, #4 - 165psi, #5 - 150psi, #6 - 158psi, #7 - 155psi, #8 - 160psi. I also found a spec sheet in the glove box indicating the specs for the new Crane camshaft. I don't have information as to exactly what was done to the engine, but it does run strong! The transmission shifts as it should and the rear end is quiet. The exhaust is in good shape and has a mellow Muscle car sound to it! The brakes are new as are the tires. The carburetor, starter, battery and all the belts and hoses have been replaced due to the length of time in storage so it is now ready for cruising! GTO's are some of the fastest appreciating and most desirable and sought after collector cars in the market today and now you can own a prime example that is ready for cruising or show!
