Vehicle Detail

This was a great truck, and it can be again for someone. I broke a connecting rod in the rebuilt 350 engine back in 2004 and decided I would hold on to the truck until I could afford to rebuild the engine. I pulled the engine out and disassembled everything, but that's as far as I ever got. Basically it's been sitting in my garage for the last 7 years and I've finally given up on getting it done. I’m hoping someone will drop a new motor in this baby and enjoy her as much as I did, but it would make a great parts vehicle, too. The Engine block, parts and accessories are all there (though some parts will need to be replaced if/when rebuilt). This truck did come with factory AC, but that was apparently removed when the engine was rebuilt around 2001 or so. I believe the transmission was also rebuilt around 2001 or so, but I’m not sure exactly what it’s history is. I do know this truck hauled anything, and moved quick! It’s got an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor (I believe to be new in 2001, so only about 3 years on it). The tires were almost brand new just before the engine died. It’s got a new GT steering wheel on it. The wheels were repainted in 2001, but the rest of the paint and truck is original. The body is in really good shape – a little rust under the doors, but otherwise very solid. Some of the trim pieces are missing or should be replaced. The bed is solid and in excellent condition. It’s been garaged and hasn’t moved for close to 7 years now. On Sep-18-11 at 16:47:32 PDT, seller added the following information: In looking at the truck again today I found some more rust that I didn't remember being there, so I thought I'd better list it here. The passenger side front fender has some rust, and a hole near the bottom. Also the passenger side under the door is a little worse that what is on the drivers side. The rockers and cab mounts are rusted - about what you would expect to see on this age of truck. Also, I realized one of the pictures makes it appear that the bed is sitting at an angle. This is not the case - the bed is square and solid. Not sure exactly why the picture looked that way. Like I said earlier, the body is all original and has not been restored. It will need some body work, like any other 40 year old vehicle.
