Vehicle Detail
Porsche Boxster This is the making of a wonderful track beast. I bought this boxster on here around 6 months ago from a Hollywood producer who started the build with the replacement of the 2.5l engine with a 911 block 3.2l. No expense was spared with the car in regards to the parts, maintenance, and build. He gave me 22 thousand dollars in receipts on the work. I have a 911 turbo, so thought this car would be fun to make into a nimble beast. I thought I would have the time to dedicate to the project to strip out the interior, fab a roll bar, and make it lighter but I never did mess with it. The car drives too well as-is and is too darn comfortable to rip apart. There are no leaks, no drips, A/C works great.... really an amazing car. The physical condition of the car is good for its age / miles. I installed the new porsche gt3 style seats (to the tune of 2 thousand dollars) and the Litronic headlights (1 thousand dollars). The seats hug your thighs great and are true racing track seats. On the exterior there are quite a few little parking lot dings and scuffs. I had a PDR guy price making it look brand new and it was 400 dollars. I havent yet done that. The chassis has about 100k miles, the new engine reportedly has 20 thousand. Tires are in great shape and are ultra high performance pilot sports. I did the red brembo brakes and had the wheels sprayed. I also did the "De-snorkle mod." PO installed the aftermarket stereo system which sounds great. The car is ultimately ready "as-is" to cross the U.S. and everything seems to work great. CEL is on, the shop I use says the ECU is confused with the larger motor sometimes but it is nothing worth looking further into. If you wanted to, you could spin tires on every gear change to 3rd with this car, it really is a beast with the 3.2l motor. It has never seen the track yet, so all miles have been pretty well pampered Having owned 2 986 boxsters, 2 996 911s, and a 996turbo.. I would guarantee this car will outperform everything but the turbo and is a true pleasure to drive in ALL conditions. I just need to downsize the cars, I dont have the time for what I have now. Id love to answer your questions - shoot me a message with anything... I feel like im really leaving something out in this Sorry the Pictures are so poor. I'll really try to clean the car and take them again.
